waiting IS the hardest part.
We received our "Certificate of Adoption Approval"! It is exciting because we are moving on to the next phase, one phase closer....
It will be at least six months before our information is shared with any birth parents, but we were told by our caseworker that it would most likely be anywhere from 18 - 24 months.
Recently we were at dinner with friends, someone's girlfriend heard that we were adopting and asked if it was a long process. When I told her yes, she said, "Doesn't it seem like everything worth while is that way?" That was perspective I needed to hear.
"You take it on faith, you take it to the heart. The waiting is the hardest part."
