I believe

December has been more difficult than I expected.  Reflecting back on a year that had more downs than ups.  Been having difficulty sleeping, more prone to headaches that are not cured by medicine, and irritable.  My poor husband.

It's time to take my energy and put it back in hopeful faith.  I love the sense of renewal, it is one of the aspects of teaching I love.  A new school year brings about a fresh start, possibilities and the enthusiasm to tackle it. That's the joy in new year's.  Reflect on the previous year, learn from it, and take all the positive with you, having that renewed faith that it's going to be an amazing year.
